This article claims that doctors and hospitals in the United States have a financial incentive to perform surgery on dying seniors because Medicare is guaranteed to pay for it, and that nutrition which could solve the problem is ignored because doctors in the USA cannot mention natural remedies without endangering their personal license to practice medicine.
